BlechReiz BrassQuintett

This band is made up of five exceptionally talented young people, who are either music students or professional musicians and who all use just the right amount of wit and sensitivity to test the boundaries of chamber music.

It’s the thought that music can be both touching and engaging and that it’s not always about the style, but moreover about the emotion behind it that lets the music come alive, that influences their concerts. An evening with the BlechReiz BrassQuintett is often extremely colourful, uber musical yet even also just a little bewildering offering numerous different styles ranging from meditative music to their own brass quintet compositions, cabaret numbers and songs, modern pieces and cross-over music almost right up to the latest pop hits. This should on the one hand encourage people to think, but on the other hand also give them the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in the music – all the while not losing the honest, authentic and heartfelt entertainment value either.
