The result of 5 years of intensive collaboration between the AHA-Group and Sonnweid Foundation from Switzerland is a project that is unique throughout the whole of Europe: we proudly present MaVida Park Velden. MaVida Park Velden is a dementia residential home with a graduated nursing and care concept boasting medical specialists on site, a special dementia care sanctuary, respite care, long-term care, an education park and support service.

Dementia is becoming a significant challenge for our society and it is for this reason that the AHA-Group has created its innovative dementia project, the MaVida Park Velden.

The architecture, medical care and nursing care at MaVida Park reflect both the extensive expertise of Gerhard Mosser, owner of the AHA-Group and organiser of the Dementia Forum and also the 20 years of experience gained by internationally recognised and award-winning pioneer in the field of dementia, Michael Schmiede, who has turned „Sonnweid“, his residential care home near Zurich, into a leading European establishment.

The official opening of MaVida Park in Velden will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday 12 October 2018.

Alps-Adriatic Dementia Congress 2018

The Kärntner Demenzforum (Carinthian Dementia Forum)was launched 6 years ago and started organising a series of talks by highly qualified experts on the subject of dementia and in turn received considerable attention. Over the last 6 years this forum has grown and since developed into an international conference. This year it will be held under its new title “First Alps-Adriatic Dementia Congress from 11-12 October in Velden under the patronage of the Minister of Social Affairs, Mag.ª Hartinger-Klein.
